Now Open

I am so very excited about this new opportunity that has opened up for me with my handcrafted soaps and body care products.

In August, 2015 I developed a severe allergy to the nail products that I've worked with for nearly 30 years now. Thankfully, I have been making soaps and body care products for nearly as long so I had something to fall back on. Truth be told, I've wanted to open my own soap shop for many years now and this was a prime opportunity.

The space we moved into happened to just fall into my lap. I developed the allergy in early August, found the space in late August, opened October 15th, 2015. So this was a whirlwind accomplishment. And I am so thankful that God saw fit to open this door for me. He has always provided for me and my family and no doubt He is continuing to do so.

Well, it would have been nearly impossible for me to fill up the whole space with nothing but soaps, tub treats and body care products within the short time-frame I had to get moved in. So, I decided to open up the opportunity to have space to other local artisans. The catch? Only handcrafted items are accepted in the store (with very very few exceptions).

The Soap Hut officially opened with the following vendors:

~ Creative Designs by Daniel - Beautiful custom cut "wood" wall hangings (monograms and names).

~ My Gifts by Jane - the most awesome favors, gifts, and baskets for everyone and every occasion.

~ Mary's Creations - a collection of gorgeous crocheted items, beaded items and other handcrafted gifts.

~ Connecting Life's Moments - handmade fabric purses, custom shadow boxes, and anything to do with preserving your memories.

~ Lammie Bottoms - the absolute best in cloth diapering systems and accessories for both mom and baby.

~ Connecting Health & Wellness - Essential Oil Blend roll ons, neck wraps, eye pillows, aromatherapy pendants & much more.

~ Medusarox - Jewelry made using semi-precious stones (necklaces and earrings).

~ Hand's Hoppers - a youth market vendor - 14 year old boy that makes wood decorative items.

~ MacKenzie Collins Photography - another youth market vendor - 15 year old photographer with her photos printed on notecards and other decor items.

~ The Soap Hut - soaps, tub treats and body care products all handcrafted with custom options.

~ The Herbal Patch - Essential Oils, dried Herbs, private consultations available by appointment.

~ Missa's Candle Scentsations - beautiful and lovely scented 100% soy candles.

~ 2 Sisters in Cahoots - embroidered and heat press vinyl items for home decor, cups, shirts and much more.

~ Rocking Robin Designs - wreaths, bows, swags and a variety of other handcrafted items.

~ Paw Patch - handcrafted dog grooming products and custom pet beds and clothing.

~ Doggie Bling & Things - dog jewelry.
